New ‘Walking Dead’ Villain Accidentally Bludgeons Camera Person to Death

WARNING! ‘WALKING DEAD’ SPOILERS FOLLOW

Season 6 of ‘The Walking Dead’ ended on a sour note last night, after the series’ new villain ‘Neegan’ accidentally bludgeoned a cameraman to death with a barbwire-lined baseball bat.

We spoke to one of the show’s producers – one Jenny Corpsestroller – to find out exactly what went wrong:

“Originally, Neegan was supposed to turn around at the very end, laugh, and then say ‘you’ve all been Punkd!’ – and it would turn out that all of the zombies they’d been hacking to bits for the last 5 years had just been poorly paid extras who worked for Ashton Kutcher.

“However, the actor playing him ended up becoming a bit over enthused from the thought of being on television, and he ended up violently clubbing-to-death the nearest camera person before we could stop him.

“Unfortunately, we weren’t even able to re-shoot, as the cast were so horrified and gore-soaked that we couldn’t convince them to film the actual scene – meaning that we’ve ultimately had to pretend that it was always supposed to be a cliff-hanger.

“Yeah – so that’s why we used that silly, cameraman POV shot at the end with the ridiculous blood dripping down. That’s the actual footage of the camera person being violently bludgeoned by an idiot.

“Oh, and which one are we going to kill off? Probably just all of them – it’s either that or somehow cover up the schedules of the actors who were there for the next nine months. Really, if we’d just killed off one person, the internet would have known who it was as soon as filming the next season started – just like what’s happened with Jon Snow.

“So yes – it would have been a ridiculous way to end it. A really, really stupid ending.”
